Hey y'all i am on a roll! I have posted 2 blogs within the same month. I am on spring break right now and I am trying to keep myself busy. Instead of writing this blog, I could be doing laundry. I really don't want to do laundry. I just wrote a letter to our sponsored child Fabio. I started thanking God about how blessed we are. He lives in a country that is more than 60% Muslim. I have to be careful about what I say in the letters that I write. I want to share the love of Jesus but, I can not mention his name in my letters. I can mention God, but not Jesus. I have often wondered if this child will know the love of Jesus at all. Finally, I realized that by us caring about him and taking care of his family without us even knowing him will show him something that he might not understand. He will want to know why two people from another country would care for him. When he asks, I will be ready with my answer. I am excited about the day when I will get to share with him the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Some of you may ask, "How do you know that he will even want to know about Jesus?" It is something that I just know. I don't want my story to deter any one from sponsoring a child. We picked this child because we wanted to help make a difference in a place where Chrisitianity is not prevalent. There are a lot of countries that let sponsors openly express their beliefs in their letters. I love being a sponsor especially when you get that first letter. I hope that you will seriously consider sponsoring a child. It is worth it I promise. I wouldn't lie to you. I hope all of you are having a super week.
